Dental Director

Dental Director (Dentist)This position could be located in Butte, MT or Dillon, MT. The Dental Director manages both clinics.We will consider a 30 to 40 hour regular work week (3-5 workdays); salary indicated is for 40 hours per week and will be prorated appropriately based on FTE. Salary $172,434 - $204,408 DOE. Eligible for a comprehensive benefits package. Must be able to pass a criminal background check. Candidate review begins 10/1/2024, position open until filled.Under the general direction and supervision of the Executive Director, the Dental Director supervises the dentists and hygienists and represents the department within the organization. The Dental Director provides dental advice and counsel to the Executive Management Team, as requested. In addition, they are responsible for providing direct patient care as outlined in the Dental Director's professional contract agreement. The Dental Director is responsible for maintaining and providing clinical and administrative leadership in order to expand a program of primary and preventive dental care and fulfill the mission and vision of SWMTCHC.Qualifications:Graduation from an accredited dental schoolCompletion of an accredited general practice residency program is preferredA minimum of three years of clinical experience is required, five years of experience preferredKnowledge of public health principles and practices preferredStrong supervisory and personnel management skillsAdministrative, management, PI, and budget development experience preferredExcellent interpersonal and written communication skills requiredLicensure & Credentials:Unrestricted license to practice dentistry in the State of MontanaCurrent CPR (BLS) certification required, ACLS preferredMontana DEA registration and Controlled Substance LicenseMedicaid providerSite with Opening: Southwest Montana Community Health Center Butte, MTHiring Organization: Southwest Montana Community Health Center Community Health Association of Mountain/Plains States (CHAMPS)
