Responsibilities

• Conduct initial and ongoing occupational therapy evaluations to determine patient needs, goals, and appropriate interventions
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans addressing activities of daily living, mobility, cognition, and safety
• Deliver direct therapy sessions across the patient population, including gait training, balance work, upper-extremity and fine motor rehabilitation, and ADL training
• Document assessments, plans of care, progress notes, and outcomes in patient records; communicate findings with the interdisciplinary team
• Participate in discharge planning, patient and family education, and coordination with caregivers to support transitions
• Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and facility policies, including equipment maintenance and infection control standards

Requirements

• Active occupational therapy license in Massachusetts or eligibility for licensure
• Graduation from an ACOTE-accredited OT program
• Experience in skilled nursing facility or acute care settings preferred
• Strong collaboration and communication skills; ability to work within an interdisciplinary team
• Ability to manage a priority-driven caseload and adapt to a fast-paced environment
• BLS certification is advantageous
