About the Position

Job Title: RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: Diagnostic Cardiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 2 years of cardiology experience License: Current active RN license Certifications: BLS & ACLS Must-Have: - Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities to formulate effective nursing care plans - Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services - Effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare personnel Description: Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality, compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Provides, delegates, supervises, and documents care and teaching of patients and families. Effectively communicates pertinent patient and family information to the healthcare team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals. Ensures implementation of identified solutions. Expected to complete 4-8 stress tests per shift. Experience interpreting rhythms is required. Preferred experience includes familiarity with cardiac testing. Cannot guarantee block scheduling but efforts will be made to accommodate requests.
