Primary Responsibilities:Owning projects end-to-end-from early problem framing and stakeholder collaboration to high-fidelity design and developer handoffShaping problem spaces by contributing to activities like problem definition, competitive analysis, writing user needs, and synthesizing insightsCreating artifacts like user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designsCollaborating closely with designers, product managers, growth strategists, and engineers to clarify scope, explore solutions, and ensure designs meet user and business needsChampioning user needs and business goals while balancing technical constraintsPresenting and communicating design decisions clearly to stakeholdersBuilding and iterating on Vitruvian, our design systemStaying curious and adaptable in a fast-paced, evolving environmentYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:5+ years of experience in UX/Product Design or a related fieldExperience working with cross-functional teams in an agile environmentSolid portfolio showcasing your design process and outcomes across mobile-first applicationsProficiency with FigmaProven solid communication and collaboration skillsProven user-first mindset with a passion for solving complex problemsProven iterative mindset with a focus on solving problems collaboratively over individual ideas Preferred Qualifications:Behavioral design competenciesExperience using and/or designing with agentic toolsExperience applying brand guidelines to digital interfacesFamiliarity with JiraFamiliarity with Atomic Design principles and design systemsBackground in healthcare or other regulated industriesUnderstanding of accessibility standards and inclusive design practices*All employees working remotely will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter Policy.Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
