The Retail Assistant Manager supports daily store operations to achieve business goals and enhance customer satisfaction. They work closely with the store manager and staff to oversee sales performance, staff development, and inventory management, ensuring a seamless retail experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist the store manager in achieving sales targets and operational goals
- Supervise and motivate retail staff to deliver excellent customer service
- Manage inventory levels, stock replenishment, and merchandise displays
- Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and resolve conflicts professionally
- Support staff training and development initiatives
- Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards
- Monitor store performance through daily reports and make recommendations for improvement
- Contribute to visual merchandising and promotional efforts
