Title
Critical Care Float Pool RN - Critical Care

Schedule
Weekend-focused: Day shift (7 AM), with a minimum commitment of every other weekend and one weekday shift per schedule.

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of ICU experience
- Travel nursing experience preferred
- Valid state or compact nursing license required at the time of submission
- References: 2 professional references required; at least 1 from a manager/director or formal supervisor
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
- Required proficiency in Epic (electronic charting)
- Clinical skills: IV starts, telemetry, ventilator management, management of ventilated patients, titration of vasoactive/cardiac drips, central line/PICC and arterial line management, ABG interpretation, interpretation of dysrhythmias, obtaining 12-lead ECGs, blood product administration, suctioning.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to adults in multiple adult ICUs based on staffing and acuity.
- Float to various intensive care units, including Neuro ICU, Medical ICU, Surgical ICU, and Cardiology/Diagnostics.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient care.
- Monitor and manage patients, including those on advanced respiratory support and medication drips.

Compliance / Notes
- Orientation: 36 hours.
- Strict compliance deadline: all credentialing items must be completed by the Tuesday prior to the start with no exceptions.
- COVID-19 vaccine not required; flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only).
- Current facility employees are ineligible for traveler status; former employees eligible after 6 months away.
