Recruitment Consultant

Hydrogen Group’s Power & Utilities team is actively seeking an experienced Recruitment Consultant / Client Liaison to support a major utility client in the Fort Worth area. This individual will play a dual-role position focused on both full-cycle recruitment and strategic client partnership support. The ideal candidate will work closely with our local business development professional to drive hiring initiatives, support managed interview processes, assist with workforce upskilling efforts, and strengthen overall client relationships to support long-term strategic growth.
This is a hybrid opportunity based in the Fort Worth area and is ideal for a motivated recruiting professional with experience supporting utility, engineering, or infrastructure-focused clients.
Responsibilities:
- Partner directly with a major utility client to support ongoing recruitment initiatives and workforce planning efforts
- Serve as a client liaison by maintaining strong communication with hiring managers, stakeholders, and internal leadership teams
- Build and maintain a targeted candidate pipeline using job boards including Indeed and LinkedIn Recruiter
- Conduct phone, video, and in person interviews with prospective candidates, managing complex conversations including compensation discussions and offer negotiations
- Support managed interview processes, including interview coordination, candidate preparation, feedback collection, and hiring recommendations
- Assist with upskilling and strategic hiring initiatives aligned to client growth objectives
- Cold call prospective candidates for both active and proactive recruiting needs
- Maintain a strong network of qualified professionals tailored to individual client skill sets and culture needs
- Conduct continuous market research within the utility and power sector, including hiring trends, compensation benchmarks, and talent availability
- Work closely with business development leadership to identify opportunities for strategic account growth and enhanced client support
- Achieve pre-set key performance indicators (KPI’s) related to recruitment activity, placements, and client delivery metrics
- Attend client meetings, intake calls, workforce planning discussions, and job specification calls as needed
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders including recruiting team members, payroll, legal, contractor HR, and operations
- Update Hydrogen’s internal CRM and Applicant Tracking System with candidate notes, resumes, interview feedback, and hiring activity
Requirements
- Previous recruiting experience required, preferably within utilities, engineering, energy, infrastructure, or technical staffing environments
- Experience serving in a client-facing or account management capacity would be a plus
- Must be located in or near the Fort Worth area and able to work in a hybrid environment
- Strong ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of organization and professionalism
- Self-starter with a consultative mindset and strong commitment to client service and recruitment excellence
- Ability to build relationships with both candidates and client stakeholders at various levels
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; training on internal systems will be provided
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to provide professional customer service and facilitate high-level conversations
- Access to a personal vehicle for occasional local client meetings or business-related travel
