Travel CCU Registered Nurse - $2,031 per week

Job Description TNAA TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN for an ICU (Intensive Care Unit) position in Carroll, Iowa. The role requires 1‑2 years of recent acute care experience. Employment Details Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 36 hours per week (12‑hour night shifts) Employment Type: Travel Responsibilities Evaluate and monitor patients in the ICU setting. Document and provide physician‑directed care. Assess and implement patient care plans, delegating to other providers as appropriate. Provide education and support to patient families. Provide basic bedside care. Prepare, administer, and record prescribed medication, reporting any adverse reactions. Order and evaluate diagnostic tests. Collect lab samples, order corresponding work, and interpret reports. Monitor and adjust specialized equipment, and interpret electronic displays. Ensure proper placement and functioning of catheters, leads, and tubing. Communicate patients' conditions to family members. Physical Requirements ICU Travel Nurses should be able to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty. Nurses must be able to lift 20 pounds, and may need to lift up to 50 pounds at times. They may be exposed to chemicals or infectious diseases and may encounter patients who are confused, agitated, or uncooperative.
