Automotive Production Technician -- Quality & SAP Labeling

Make lean thinking real on the line
Join an assembly team where every part counts. You’ll support daily plant assembly operations, combining lean discipline with careful inspection to deliver dependable results in a fast-moving automotive setting.
Your mission- Operate various assembly machines in secondary operations, following all operator instructions.
- Advance a culture of continuous improvement through Lean Manufacturing and active participation in the Elimination of Waste Team Program.
- Verify product quality with visual checks and gauges aligned to the Control Plan and Quality check sheet.
- Be the quality owner for your work cell—identify and report any defects to the Team Leader or Supervisor.
- Maintain a safe, orderly workspace with consistent 5S practices.
- Keep up with the pace and expectations of an automotive production environment.
- Complete all required daily records: production reports, PPLH, scrap reports, and the 5S housekeeping sheet.
- Scan and print SAP product labels; operate SAP handheld scanners, calculators, and printers as needed.
- Serve as a wastewater handler upon successful completion of required environmental training.
- Champion the company’s goals and objectives.
- Take on other duties as assigned by the General Production Supervisor or Team Leader.
- IATF16949, ISO 14001, and Q1 compliance awareness.
- Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with production technology.
High school diploma or GED.
