Salary: $170,000 - 199,000 per year Requirements:

• We need a bachelors degree with 10 years of experience leading cloud teams in a hands-on technical capacity, or a high school diploma/GED with 14 years of the same experience.
• We prefer at least 10 years in infrastructure engineering, systems administration, or platform engineering.
• We prefer 7+ years of Kubernetes and OpenShift administration experience.
• We need experience operating large-scale production OpenShift environments.
• We value experience supporting highly regulated, mission-critical applications.
• We look for proven leadership on enterprise platform initiatives.
• We need strong expertise in Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform, Kubernetes administration, OpenShift Operators, Service Mesh, Pipelines, GitOps, and OpenShift Data Foundation.
• We need solid Linux skills, including Red Hat Enterprise Linux administration and performance tuning.
• We need familiarity with public cloud and hybrid cloud architectures.
• We need hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, Helm, and ArgoCD.
• We need networking knowledge covering DNS, load balancers, TCP/IP, ingress/egress, VPN, service mesh, and Istio.
• We need storage experience with Ceph, NFS, SAN/NAS, persistent volumes, and CSI drivers.
• We need monitoring and logging experience with Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace/App Dynamics, Splunk, and OpenTelemetry.
• Preferred certifications include Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration, RHCA, CKA, CKS, AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator Associate, and Azure Solutions Architect Expert.

• We design, implement, upgrade, and support enterprise OpenShift clusters across on-premises and cloud environments.
• We develop platform roadmaps and technical direction aligned with business goals.
• We architect highly available, fault-tolerant, and scalable OpenShift platforms.
• We manage the full cluster lifecycle, including installation, upgrades, patching, backups, and disaster recovery.
• We define standards for cluster provisioning, capacity planning, and workload optimization.
• We act as the subject matter expert for Kubernetes and Red Hat OpenShift technologies.
• We administer core cluster components such as the control plane, worker nodes, operators, ingress controllers, routes, registries, storage classes, and service mesh.
• We tune platform performance and resource consumption.
• We troubleshoot complex container, networking, storage, and orchestration issues.
• We build infrastructure-as-code solutions with Terraform, Ansible, Helm, ArgoCD, and GitOps practices.
• We automate deployments, configuration management, and day-to-day operational work.
• We create reusable automation frameworks that improve reliability and consistency.
• We implement container security controls and governance best practices.
• We configure RBAC, SCCs, network policies, identity integrations, and secrets management.
• We partner with cybersecurity teams to satisfy regulatory and compliance obligations.
• We perform vulnerability assessments and remediation.
• We establish observability frameworks using Dynatrace, Alertmanager, Elasticsearch, and Splunk.
• We define SLIs, SLOs, and operational dashboards.
• We lead incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement efforts.
• We support site reliability engineering practices.
• We work with development teams to onboard applications into OpenShift.
• We implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI/CD and ArgoCD.
• We promote GitOps and cloud-native operations.
• We improve deployment automation and developer self-service.
• We provide technical leadership for platform engineering and OpenShift operations teams.
• We establish enterprise standards, governance frameworks, and operating procedures.
• We mentor engineers and administrators in Kubernetes and container technologies.
• We lead technical reviews, architecture discussions, and modernization initiatives.
• We influence enterprise cloud and container platform strategy.
