Warehouse Material Handler / Reach Forklift Operator
Location: Coppell, TX Pay Rate: $17.54 per hour
Job Summary
We are seeking dependable warehouse material handlers and experienced reach forklift operators to support operations at a facility in Coppell, TX. This role focuses on moving, staging, and repositioning materials throughout the warehouse to reconfigure space for new customers.
Please note: This is not a forklift-only position. Candidates must be flexible and willing to assist in general labor and other warehouse departments as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Move, stage, and reorganize materials throughout the warehouse
- Safely operate warehouse equipment, including:
- Reach forklift
- Sit-down forklift
- Electric pallet jack
- Use manual pallet jacks as required
- Assist with warehouse layout changes and space reconfiguration projects
- Support general labor and other warehouse tasks when not operating a forklift
- Follow all safety procedures and operational guidelines
- Work collaboratively with warehouse staff to meet project timelines
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse or material handling experience preferred
- Proven experience operating reach forklifts required
- Experience with sit-down forklifts and electric pallet jacks
- Forklift certification preferred
- Ability to lift, push, and pull materials throughout the shift
- Strong safety awareness and attention to detail
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Assignment Details
- Pay Rate: $17.54/hour
- Duration: Temp to hire depending on experience, reliability & performance.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday 7am to 3:30pm
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods
- Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment in a fast-paced environment
