Duties:
- Assemble mechanical or electrical components according to blueprints, instructions, or diagrams. Which includes running a conduit.
- Assemble components such as belts, sprockets, pulleys, rollers, sub-assemblies and full equipment models.
- Ensure all parts fit correctly and meet quality standards, testing assemblies if required.
- Utilize tools to fasten, join, or secure components.
- Wire and connect motors and switches.
- Maintain accurate records of assembly processes and report any issues or defects.
- Ensure the work area remains organized and free from safety hazards.
- Operate overhead cranes and forklift.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in mechanical, electrical, plumbing or general assembly.
- Pneumatics and Hydraulics knowledge helpful.
- Ability to read blueprints, electrical schematics, diagrams, or instructions.
- Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Proficient in using small parts and tools.
- Attention to detail with a quality focus.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Able to read measuring devices and dial calipers.
- Sit, stand and kneel for extended periods of 2 hours or more at a time.
