Senior Project Manager

Our client is seeking an experienced, hands‑on Senior Project Manager to lead complex, high‑visibility initiatives that are strategically important and involve multiple stakeholders across business and technology functions. This role requires a strong leader who can navigate organizational complexity, drive alignment, and ensure successful delivery of critical programs. The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with execution excellence and has experience leading data‑focused and technology‑enabled initiatives, including system implementations, integrations, and transformation efforts. Key Responsibilities Lead complex, cross‑functional projects and programs from initiation through delivery. Define project scope, objectives, governance, success metrics, timelines, budgets, and risk management strategies. Partner with business and technology leaders to drive alignment, decision‑making, and execution across competing priorities. Identify and proactively manage risks, dependencies, and organizational impacts to maintain project momentum. Influence stakeholders and build consensus across diverse teams and perspectives. Provide clear, concise executive‑level communications, including project status, risks, recommendations, and key decisions. Drive accountability across project teams and ensure commitments are met. Lead teams through ambiguity, organizational change, and evolving business needs. Coordinate activities across multiple workstreams, vendors, and internal partners. Develop and maintain project roadmaps, dashboards, and executive reporting. Serve as a hands‑on delivery leader, removing obstacles and accelerating execution when needed. Support project recovery and stabilization efforts for challenged initiatives. Align resource planning and delivery schedules with broader organizational objectives. Qualifications 10+ years of project and program management experience leading large‑scale, enterprise initiatives. Proven success managing high‑visibility programs involving executive and senior‑level stakeholders. Experience leading data, data warehouse, analytics, or reporting‑related projects. Strong ability to influence without direct authority and drive collaboration across business and technology teams. Exceptional communication, facilitation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Demonstrated hands‑on delivery experience with a results‑oriented approach. Experience managing technology‑enabled initiatives, including application development, systems integration, and digital transformation programs. Strong partnership experience working closely with IT and business organizations. Experience recovering and stabilizing at‑risk projects. Ability to thrive in fast‑paced environments with shifting priorities and competing demands. Strong analytical, organizational, problem‑solving, and critical‑thinking skills. Experience leading cross‑functional and distributed teams. Consulting, transformation, or enterprise change management experience preferred.
