Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in speech therapy, particularly in working with pediatric patients. This role involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech and language disorders to enhance communication skills in children. The Speech Therapist will work closely with families, educators, and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized treatment plans that promote effective communication.

Duties

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to evaluate speech and language abilities.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on assessment results.
• Provide early intervention services for children with speech and language delays.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to deliver effective speech therapy sessions.
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to support the patient’s communication goals.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
• Stay current with advancements in speech therapy practices and techniques.
• Educate patients and families about speech disorders and therapeutic strategies.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
• Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech Therapist.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to speech therapy.
• Experience working in a school setting or with pediatric patients is preferred.
• Proficiency in patient assessment techniques and early intervention strategies.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• A passion for providing high-quality patient care and improving communication skills in children.
