Senior Tax Accountant

Bring your tax expertise to a corporate team where you'll have true end-to-end ownership—from compliance through provision. In this role, you'll help drive accurate, timely filings and a smooth close/reporting process, while partnering with internal stakeholders and external auditors/consultants across key initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support an efficient close and reporting process with a continuous improvement mindset
• Ensure accurate and timely filing/payment of federal, state, and local direct and indirect tax returns
• Prepare corporate income tax workpapers and compute book-to-tax differences
• Assist with quarterly estimates, extensions, and annual income tax provision (ASC 740) calculations
• Research income tax opportunities and share recommendations with the team
• Support implementation and execution of tax incentives across internal groups
• Prepare sales, use, and severance tax returns and payment schedules
• Help manage compliance administration (annual reports, local business licenses, exemption certificates)
• Analyze transactional tax accruals and prepare adjusting journal entries as needed
• Research impacts of tax law changes and develop scenario analyses
• Collaborate with outside auditors and tax consultants on special projects

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 2+ years of progressive income tax/tax accounting experience (public accounting or corporate)
• Strong knowledge of ASC 740 and federal/state income tax compliance
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other software applications
• Experience with OneSource Income Tax and OneSource Tax Provision
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines with strong interpersonal skills
