Account ManagerAccount Manager Vox Media Group, LLC | New York, NY (Hybrid)The Account Manager owns post-sale execution across all campaign types — digital media, programmatic, branded content, editorial sponsorships, experiential, social, and audio. The extension of the sales team once a deal closes: the person clients trust to protect their investment, the internal authority who keeps all teams aligned, and actively looking for the next opportunity to grow the account. Accountable for on-time, high-quality delivery. This role will collaborate with multiple teams with the media business, including ad operations, editorial, creative, legal, accounting, production teams.WHAT YOU'LL DOOwn the post-sale relationshipServe as the main point of contact for clients and agencies from verbal through wrap and renewal, building the kind of trust that makes you a natural extension of the sales team in post-saleLead client communications and campaign execution via asset collection, proactive troubleshooting, reporting and performanceFeed historical insights into pre-sale strategy for returning clientsRun flawless executionManage a high-volume book of business spanning large, complex campaigns and smaller, fast-moving onesAct as the internal authority on each client's campaign intricacies, advising operations, editorial, creative, and production teamsRemove blockers, enforce scope, and keep all campaign elements launching on time, minimizing revenue riskLead legal conversations on terms and usage rightsSupport Revenue Accounting with billing actualizationDrive incremental revenueProactively identify and pitch upsell opportunitiesMonitor performance and revenue risk in collaboration with AdOps, using strong results as the entry point for expansion conversationsOptimize campaigns to hit or exceed KPIs, since performance is your best upsell pitchWHO YOU ARE2+ years executing high-volume digital advertising and/or podcast campaigns; agency or publisher experience preferredA strategic thinker who connects Vox Media's product mix to client KPIsA proven communicator: clear under pressure, comfortable presenting performance to a room, skilled at turning client requests into next opportunitiesOrganized and capable of juggling multiple high-priority campaigns and tasksFamiliar with project management systems and order management systems preferredFundamental knowledge of Megaphone, Google Ad Manager (GAM), and Doubleclick Campaign Manager (DCM) preferredProactive, adaptive, and genuinely invested in Vox Media's editorial brandsPAY TRANSPARENCY The salary range listed below represents the minimum and maximum base pay for this position at the time of this posting.
