Matt Nimey, GMC is currently looking to find their next Sales Executive!

Job Summary: Matt Nimey, GMC is seeking a motivated and results-oriented Sales Executive to join their team. The Sales Executive will be responsible for generating new business, building customer relationships, and achieving sales targets through the sale of vehicles and related services. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cars, strong sales skills, and a commitment to providing an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Engagement:

• Greet customers promptly and professionally as they enter the dealership.
• Understand customer needs and preferences through effective questioning and active listening.
• Provide detailed information about available vehicles, features, and financing options.
• Conduct test drives to demonstrate vehicle performance and features.

Sales Process:

• Guide customers through the entire sales process, from initial inquiry to final purchase.
• Present pricing, payment, and financing options in a clear and transparent manner.
• Negotiate pricing and trade-in values to achieve mutually beneficial agreements.
• Prepare and process all necessary paperwork for vehicle sales, ensuring accuracy and compliance with dealership policies.

Relationship Building:

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and referrals.
• Follow up with customers after sales to ensure satisfaction and address any questions or concerns.
• Maintain a network of potential customers through regular outreach and follow-up activities.

Sales Targets and Performance:

• Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets as set by the Sales Manager.
• Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify new sales opportunities.
• Continuously improve sales techniques through training and professional development.

Product Knowledge:

• Stay up-to-date on the dealership’s current inventory, as well as new and upcoming models.
• Maintain a deep understanding of vehicle features, specifications, and performance.
• Educate customers on the benefits and value of various vehicle options and packages.

Team Collaboration:

• Work closely with the finance and service departments to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Participate in sales meetings and training sessions to share knowledge and improve performance.
• Support other team members in achieving dealership goals and objectives.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Sales Executive or similar role in the automotive industry.
• Strong understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and colleagues.
• Self-motivated, with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently.
• Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales-related tools.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required; a degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is a plus.
