Research Assistant for PsyD IPE Grant

Job Description

The overarching aim of this project is to assess the benefit of a relatively brief psychoeducational resiliency training integrated into the PA student curriculum and administered by CP students. The goal is to foster both interprofessional connection and resilience. We are piloting a curriculum entitled Mercer Bridging Education and Resilience (M-BEAR), targeting four specific modules during lunch and learn sessions.

The four specific aims of this study are:

• To assess the feasibility of implementing interprofessional lunch-and-learn training modules to PAS students by CP students
• To foster students' knowledge of the connections among biological, psychological, and social health and well-being
• To enhance resilience and reduce stress and anxiety after completion of targeted resilience training modules and reflective activities
• To foster Interprofessional Education Collaborative (IPEC) Core Competencies regarding Values/Ethics for Interprofessional Practice and Interprofessional Communication between students in the PAS and CP programs

We will need support creating Qualtrics surveys, Excel spreadsheets to organize the project, curriculum creation and coordination of the project.

• Time commitment: 4 hours weekly, July 1, 2025 - June 30, 2026
