Vlaag Roofing is not a typical roofing company. We are a young Georgia company built by roofers who also built their own software. Most roofing sales jobs hand you a clipboard, a ladder, a neighborhood and 20-year-old software, and say "go find business." We do it differently.

Why reps choose us

• You call before you knock. We give you homeowner phone numbers in the neighborhoods you work, so you can book appointments by phone before you ever walk a street. Most roofing companies don't do this.
• You don't climb roofs. Every inspection starts with a drone flight, and our inspector handles the roof. You handle the homeowner.
• You don't start from zero. We track the storms and point you to the neighborhoods that were hit, and our team books inspections too.
• Our own software, built this year, not a decade ago. Our lead platform and our app are one system, so a lead goes from a phone number to an appointment to a signed deal to your paycheck in one place. No juggling five tools.
• You get a share of the profit, not a thin percentage. Most shops pay around 10% of the contract. We pay 45% of each job's gross profit. On a typical storm job that is roughly $3,000 or more to you. (An example, not a promise. Your pay depends on your results.)
• You sell. The office runs the rest. After the homeowner signs, our office handles the adjuster, materials, our own install crews and the checks. Your deals get finished, and you get paid.
• Competing is built in. Live leaderboards, streaks, team contests and milestones in the app. Everyone can see who is on top this week.

What you'll do

• Call homeowners to set inspection appointments
• Meet homeowners on your inspection days and walk them through what the inspection found
• Get the agreement signed on your phone
• Knock doors in the neighborhoods around your appointments
• Follow up with your leads and log every outcome in the app

You never negotiate a homeowner's insurance claim. You document, you sign the job, and the office works the claim.

What we're looking for

• 18 or older, valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Comfortable on the phone and at the door
• Strong communicator, self-motivated, competitive
• Comfortable with 1099 commission and profit-share pay
• Able to pass a background check
• No roofing experience required. We train you. Experienced roofing reps: bring your current comp plan to the interview and we will show you the math on your own numbers.

Pay

1099 commission and profit-share, uncapped, no hourly base. Reps in roofing sales commonly earn $65k to $75k a year hitting weekly goals, and top performers make $100k to $250k or more. That is a market range, not a guarantee.
