Surgical Technologist

Role Surgical Technologist responsible for preparing operating rooms, gathering supplies, and assisting during surgical procedures. Responsibilities Prepare for surgeries by obtaining supplies and establishing sterile fields. Deliver instruments, assist with draping and exposure, and handle specimens. Assist with positioning, suturing, hemostasis, and robotic instrument operation under surgeon supervision. Maintain equipment, ensure room readiness, and support unit operations through effective communication, training, and mentoring. Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or GED. BLS certification. Surgical technologist training or experience; certification preferred. Demonstrate critical thinking, independence in scrub roles, and ability to anticipate surgeon needs. Competency in multiple service lines and complex cases required. No invasive procedures or medication administration. Key Duties Ensure sterile techniques. Assist with surgical tasks. Handle equipment and supplies. Support team operations. Maintain compliance with safety and competency standards. Night shift, 36 hours weekly.
