Evening shift (1:30PM-10:00PM ) during the school year and have daytime hours in summer!
Our ‘Mission’ desires “to form a community of faith and learning by promoting a Catholic way of life through Gospel values and academic excellence.” We are seeking an individual who will exhibit the ‘Core Values’ of Bishop O’Gorman Catholic Schools: Faith, Unity, Excellence and Integrity and create an environment of trust.
Starting rate is $17.20/hr without experience and can increase based on relevant experience.
Location/Schedule:
O'Gorman Junior High
Responsibilities:
- Promote the mission of Bishop O † Gorman Catholic Schools
- Keep buildings and grounds in a clean and sanitary condition, including daily pickup of trash and debris
- Daily – clean and/or mop floors, disinfect bathrooms and drinking fountains, assist with minor repairs, clean windows and vacuum
- General maintenance of building
- Dust tops of lockers
- Clean snow from sidewalks, driveways and other areas on school grounds
- Set up and take down equipment/chairs and tables, etc. for all events at/related to the school
- When applicable, open and lock the school buildings
- Promote a positive public image to students, staff and community through cooperation and attitude
- Preventative maintenance – waxing, sealing, patching, painting, etc.
- Perform various duties as assigned
Qualifications:

- Attention to detail, dependable and trustworthy
- Knowledge and skills in cleaning supplies and equipment, inventory control and time management
- Understands how role relates to the “whole picture” and Bishop O † Gorman Catholic Schools Mission
- Ability to climb ladders, lift at least 50 lbs., and operate heavy machinery
