Director of Accounting

Connect Search is partnering with a rapidly growing company to identify a Director of Corporate Accounting for its Houston headquarters. This is a high-impact opportunity for a CPA with strong corporate accounting and multi-entity consolidation experience who enjoys building processes, solving problems, and leading through growth. The company has tripled in size in less than two years through acquisitions , growing from approximately 300 to 900 employees. Why this opportunity stands out: Lead the corporate accounting function and full month-end/year-end close Own multi-entity consolidations , including international entities and FX impacts Oversee GL, balance sheet reconciliations, intercompany activity, and consolidated reporting Develop accounting policies, internal controls, and scalable processes Partner closely with the CAO and executive leadership Help integrate acquisitions and improve the accounting infrastructure of a rapidly growing organization Lead and develop the accounting team Drive ERP/reporting optimization in Infor SyteLine What we're looking for: CPA required 7+ years of progressive accounting experience Strong corporate accounting leadership background Significant multi-entity consolidation experience Strong GAAP and technical accounting knowledge Experience owning the full close and consolidated financial reporting process International consolidation and foreign currency/FX experience strongly preferred Proven process improvement and team leadership experience #J-18808-Ljbffr Connect Search, LLC
