Electronics Assembler / Entry-Level Electronics Technician

Are you someone who enjoys building PCs, repairing electronics, gaming systems, phones, or working with technology as a hobby? We're looking for motivated individuals who are eager to learn and build hands-on technical skills in a growing electronics environment.
No professional electronics repair experience is required. We provide training for candidates with strong attention to detail, basic computer skills, and an interest in technology.
What You'll Do
Test, troubleshoot, and inspect electronic equipment.
Assist with repairing and refurbishing networking, telecommunications, and consumer electronics devices.
Learn how to identify hardware and software issues using industry-standard tools and procedures.
Follow step-by-step work instructions and quality standards.
Perform basic equipment setup, configuration, and software updates.
Use hand tools and testing equipment to support repair and assembly activities.
Document repairs, testing results, and production information.
Replace components and assist with repair processes as needed.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workstation.
Work alongside experienced technicians and receive hands-on training.

Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED.
Basic computer skills.

Experience building or repairing computers.
Experience with gaming consoles, phones, tablets, or other electronics.

Manufacturing, assembly, warehouse, or production experience.
Understanding of basic electronics, networking, or telecommunications equipment.

Work Environment
This is a fast-paced electronics repair and production environment where you'll work with computers, networking equipment, telecommunications hardware, and consumer electronics. Team members receive hands-on training from experienced technicians while developing troubleshooting, testing, repair, and quality control skills. The position involves a mix of sitting, standing, computer work, and handling small electronic components throughout the day.

This is a Contract position based out of Chesapeake, VA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
