Title
Telemetry RN - Neurology/Neurosurgery

Requirements
- Valid RN license required.
- Minimum of 1 year of RN experience.
- Neuro experience required (neurology/neurosurgery/telemetry).
- Experience with patient ratios of 4-5 patients.
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) competency preferred.
- Experience with Epic charting system required.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Monitor and interpret telemetry data, managing dysrhythmias as needed.
- Provide neuro stepdown care, including pre/post neurosurgery care.
- Administer care for CVA/stroke patients in a thrombectomy-capable unit.
- Manage care for patients undergoing craniotomies and those with traumatic brain/spinal cord injuries.
- Oversee procedural sedation monitoring and assist with BiPAP/CPAP and chest tube management.

Compliance / Notes
- Orientation: 36 hours.
- 2 days of requested time off must be noted at submission.
- Candidates must not contact the facility directly unless coordinated by the Account/Placement Manager.
- Travelers refusing to float may result in termination.
