The Justice Involved Mental Health FSP serves adults with serious mental illness and histories of criminal justice involvement. This outpatient ACT treatment model includes wrap‑around services and supports with 80% of services provided in the community. Our JIMH FSP supports clients in meeting basic needs (e.g., food, clothing, shelter) and obtaining benefits. We also work to educate and support them as they navigate additional community resources that increase their self‑sufficiency, minimizing the possibility that they may turn to criminal acts to get these needs met. What You Will Do to Change Lives In this mid‑level management position and under direct supervision of the Administrator, the Clinical Director provides leadership, coordination, and clinical supervision to multidisciplinary team(s) and/or program(s). He or she assists the Administrator with quality improvement duties. Employees in this role are required to participate in a structured on‑call rotation, remaining accessible and prepared to respond to work‑related needs within a designated timeframe. Rotations are scheduled in advance. While on‑call, employees must actively monitor communications (e.g., phone, email) and respond in accordance with operational protocols. Shifts Available Full‑time: Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Expected starting wage range is $101,329.77–$137,101.50. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements. What You Bring to the Table (Must Have) Master’s or higher degree in Social Services and current licensure/registration in California with existing licensure in good standing as LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC. One (1) year in leadership role in an outpatient setting. Two (2) years post‑graduate direct clinical experience in a mental health setting. Experience working with mental health and substance use consumers, families, and advisory boards. Sensitivity to multicultural populations and issues. At least 18 years of age. CPR, Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI), and First Aid certification on date of employment or within 60 days and maintenance of current certification throughout employment. Successful completion of a post‑offer physical examination, 2‑step PPD test for tuberculosis, acceptable criminal background clearances, excluded party sanctions, and verification of degree or license. Valid driver’s license and ability to use a personal vehicle for client transport; weekly mileage reimbursement at the IRS rate. Willingness to drive clients to appointments and groups.
