Java Web Developer Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Java Web Developer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Validate daily that all website links are active and functioning;
- Monitor and maintain accurate and up-to-date information on specific DoD digital media sites;
- Ensure the program website contains up-to-date information;
- Develop and update publications as necessary;
- Maintain website functionality and troubleshoot issues as required;
- Design, develop, and administer the program website as required;
- Coordinate with other organizations to ensure consistency and accuracy of information.
Requirements:
- MQ – Mainframe & Distributed Applications;
- Ant build script;
- Struts10;
- Taglibs;
- JBOSS – A plus;
- Development methodologies ( Agile, Waterfall, Hybrids);
- MS Azure Web Services – a plus;
- Oracle;
- Python – a plus;
- JSP, Validation Framework;
- JasperReport or BIRT experience is preferred;
- Create technical design documents;
- log4j;
- Experience designing data structures and/or user interfaces;
- Experience working on Agile software development projects (i.e. using Sprint or Kanban methodologies).
