Our company is looking for a Sr. DevOps Engineer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Close work with DEV teams that use ELK stack as time series database;
  • Replace Splunk logging with ELK stack for log aggregation;
  • Maintain, Troubleshoot, and Develop ELK as monitoring solution (replace for data log);
  • Coordinate/Plan & Execute activities related to Kafka platform maintenance and Software release management;
  • Monitor, analyze and troubleshoot problems within DevOps tools, network, storage and servers;
  • Drive development of tools that will allow zero downtime to developers for developing and testing their software;
  • Be accountable for delivering all assigned tasks for projects;
  • SDLC tooling such as GIT commit hook to facilitate improvement in code hygiene;
  • Provide technical guidance to customers while working with Customer teams to resolve customer issues;
  • Provide guidance and support enterprise software security;
  • Assist with software and infrastructure management, inventory, installations, configurations and connectivity;
  • Building CI/CD pipelines;
  • Collaborate with other engineers to develop deployment and maintenance automation for existing and new services;
  • Assist with managing vendor relationships and keeping current on leading-practices for products and technologies used in customer environments;
  • Design, implement and maintain the promotion pipeline, ensuring quality and security controls are met.

Requirements:

  • The ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance may be required Learn more about the background check process for Security Clearances;
  • Able to work with little appreciable direction;
  • Bonus points for AWS Solutions Architect certification, AWS Security Specialty Certification, AWS Machine Learning Specialty Certification;
  • Experience with k8s/Jenkins;
  • Familiar with monitoring solutions, experience in implementation;
  • Platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Cloud Foundry;
  • 3+ years of cloud infrastructure (preferably using AWS);
  • Self-starter able to execute independently, with light supervision;
  • Experience building networks including routing, switching, and VLANs;
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a closely related field;
  • JIRA/Confluence;
  • Self-driven;
  • AWS Serverless –
  • Working knowledge of Netflix based tools like Zuul, Eureka and micro-services;
  • Windows server 2016.
