Agile Project Manager Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Agile Project Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Scale to manage product security backlog using project management and tracking tools, including JIRA and Confluence;
- Implement Agile (Kanban) practices within product security, and facilitate/participate in key Agile processes across Kanban teams;
- Assist in training and coaching product security team members on Agile practices;
- Creates, monitors and reports out resource plans, estimates resource requirements through project lifecycle;
- Develops project quality plans and ensures project quality standards are met;
- Ensures projects are delivered to meet to the overall program objectives;
- Performs requirements gathering, develops and maintains a traceability matrix to ensure project goals are met with desired outcomes;
- Identifies knowledge and performance gaps and recommends solutions to improve Project Management Office (PMO) practices and business processes;
- experience with creating Project plans and a background with ERP systems is strongly preferred;
- Prepare reports and present to all levels of management and to the program PM;
- Lead the scrum team in using Agile methodology and scrum practices;
- Responsible for hiring and managing direct reports; includes creating job description, interviewing and onboarding activities;
- Support the SCRUM teams in tracking agile projects milestones and deliverables;
- Host team meeting and scrum ceremonies;
- Work with Business Analyst, product owners, and development team to achieve customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Perform other projects or miscellaneous duties as requested or assigned;
- Work independently with users to define requirements and under direction of Product management;
- Communicate and collaborate with existing system support staff to share system enhancement opportunities for the current systems.
