Our company is looking for a Bi Developer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Analyzes data and reporting requirements for the design of BO universes and underlying database structures;
- building pipelines for extracting, ingesting, processing, and loading data as batch and real-time operations;
- ensuring ingested data are associated with quality codes;
- Provide SME support for development of automated QA scripts;
- Setup monitoring and management for services;
- identifying tables/transformations in the new system required to support reporting/analysis needs;
- This position will also be responsible for other tasks and responsibilities as assigned;
- Collaborate regularly with various teams, including market analytics;
- Participate in department projects as assigned;
- Meet with the users of reports, determine the requirements, understand where the data is located and design the process to retrieve the data;
- Be the main point of contact for technical support related to BI activity for various teams within the company;
- Review customer files to ensure integrity of data collection and utilization;
- Develop policies and procedures for the collection and analysis of data;
- Provide user trainings and orientations;
- Engaging with users to gather requirements.
Requirements:
- Document and communicate ‘best practices’ for optimum performance and maintainability;
- Strong understanding of Data Warehouse, Data Mart, and OLAP concepts;
- Build, leverage, and maintain effective relationships across technical and business community;
- Tableau Architecture;
- Proficient with at least one programming/scripting language (preferably Java or Python);
- Expert level SQL skills;
- 5-10 years IT experience;
- Support existing dashboards in production;
- Design, implement, and maintain complex ETL processes;
- 3-5+ years of experience with SQL Server;
- Experience with databases;
- Thorough understanding of SDLC and how it pertains to the database;
- T-SQL development and performance optimization – design, debug and optimization;
- 5+ year of hands on experience with Data Visualization tools (Tableau and Power BI strongly preferred);
- Working in Agile, being a Team player, working closely with other units in the company.
