Our company is looking for a Microsoft BI Developer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for delivering comprehensive visual dashboards backed by data warehouse technologies;
- Responsible for system design, coding, testing and maintenance for all data warehouse, and business intelligence platforms;
- Design, develop, and support data marts utilized by mission critical data warehouse applications;
- Develops custom code and scripts to support delivery and presentation of data warehouse;
- Create data flows and conceptual models defining the informational needs of solutions;
- Writes and/or reviews functional and technical specification documents;
- Responsible for maintaining integrity of database information;
- Adopts and follows change management procedures related to implementation of application changes within core systems;
- Provides off hours support of critical report production applications and ETL’s when necessary;
- Manages middleware interface programs and or applications that move data between systems using ETL functions.
Requirements:
- Adopts and follows change management procedures related to implementation of application changes within core systems;
- Provides off hours support of critical report production applications and ETL’s when necessary;
- Responsible for maintaining integrity of database information;
- Manages middleware interface programs and or applications that move data between systems using ETL functions;
- Strong experience working with relational and analytical database schemas and architectures;
- Strong experience in current software engineering and solution delivery methodologies;
- Strong understanding of Data Warehousing concepts: Star Schema, Fact and Dimensional tables, slowing changing dimensions, and data marts;
- SQL Database administration experience (preferred);
- Develops custom code and scripts to support delivery and presentation of data warehouse;
- Create data flows and conceptual models defining the informational needs of solutions;
- Writes and/or reviews functional and technical specification documents;
- Responsible for delivering comprehensive visual dashboards backed by data warehouse technologies;
- Excellent knowledge of data modeling;
- 5+ years in SQL programming;
- Experience working with Power BI (preferred).
