Our company is looking for a Commercial Construction Project Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Manage existing projects and assist Estimating Department when appropriate;
- Prepare monthly forecasting summaries;
- Issue monthly progress draws to owners;
- Expedite all shop drawings and approvals;
- Expedite all change orders and change order costs;
- Control and monitor labor, material and equipment costs;
- Monitor and maintain the project construction schedule on a daily basis;
- Preparation of the project schedule;
- Demonstrate ability to problem solve to resolve and enforce quality control;
- Collaborate with the architect and construction crew to ensure feasibility of each project;
- As required, participates in the performance improvement program as defined by the organization;
- Maintains knowledge related to the operations of their department;
- Prepare and submit project estimates to clients;
- Oversee the beginning of each turn-key project, including details like permit submission and design evaluations;
- Work with Management Team as needed to develop estimate and implement project budgets.
Requirements:
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel;
- Ensure all project management materials;
- Developing project cost estimates and schedules;
- Must be able to read blue prints;
- College degree in a construction field is preferred but not required;
- Manage construction projects or assist senior management on large projects;
- Lead, manage and have accountability for construction projects from the completed bid stage to job completion;
- Prepare project status reports and develop project budget estimates and project schedules;
- Serve as technical reviewer, project manager or project engineer on complex projects;
- Knowledge of technical aspects, administration, and management of all phases of project management;
- Computer skills using Timberline, TimberScan, MS Project, and MS Office;
- Excellent communication, organization, and supervisory skills essential;
- Familiarity with construction management software, ProCore;
- 5-10 years experience in commercial construction project management;
- Ability to travel within Colorado.
