Our company is looking for a Director of Compliance to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, coordinate, and manage ad-hoc compliance related projects and tasks;
  • Conduct investigations on compliance matters and regularly report on such matters to the General Counsel;
  • Develop risk management strategies;
  • Bank Partner Reporting & Engagement;
  • Manage, train, and develop two junior members of compliance team;
  • Compliance Testing, Monitoring & Data Analytics;
  • Manage a portion of Parametric’s investment advisor compliance program;
  • Coordinate multi-functional projects/initiatives with 3rd parties by providing policies, program documents, process descriptions, etc;
  • Prepare operational plans based upon budget projections;
  • Ensure that the system is adequately publicized and that allegations of non-compliance are investigated and responded to promptly;
  • Enforce the standards and fully investigate possible violations;
  • Conduct research and/or special projects as required;
  • Maintain compliance with state licenses and audit license renewals;
  • Participate in business and function strategic initiatives and provide relevant compliance advice and effective challenge;
  • You’ll generate policies addressing all aspects of Medicare Advantage compliance for an insurance agency.

Requirements:

  • Support enhancement of Operating Unit compliance performance through coordination with site compliance leaders;
  • Methodical and diligent with outstanding planning abilities;
  • A business acumen partnered with a dedication to legality;
  • Good communication, social, and interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust;
  • Excellent knowledge of reporting procedures and record keeping;
  • Solid awareness of corporate controls and governance;
  • Certified compliance professional is a plus;
  • 5+ years of related experience;
  • Ability to prioritize key deliverables, multi-task and work well under pressure and tight deadlines;
  • Sound judgment and commitment to ethical conduct;
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment and to handle multiple complex and confidential tasks;
  • 5+ years as Compliance Officer or equivalent;
  • 7-10 years of recent, relevant in-house experience in a pharmaceutical or biotechnology company’s compliance department is required;
  • Strong relationship management, influencing, vision and execution skills;
  • Knowledge of and experience with US laws, regulations, and industry guidance that affect the pharmaceutical industry.
