Our company is looking for a Application Analyst to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with preparation of all necessary documentation and processes to enable ongoing support of the systems. (i.e. Knowledge base articles, etc.);
  • Manages assigned projects and meets deadlines;
  • Assist and/or coordinate user acceptance testing, ensuring issues are resolved in a pragmatic and appropriate manner;
  • Develops an understanding of client business needs, organizational structure and supported applications;
  • Work with third-party vendors, and associated systems to research and resolve production support issues;
  • Manage an individual open case queue, while being assigned new cases on a daily basis;
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of Q2 Solution usage to answer how to questions and provide step-by-step instructions to customers;
  • Troubleshoot/resolve basic customer problems;
  • Formal business analysis training and/or qualification preferred;
  • Participate in rotating 24×7 on call support coverage for all issues;
  • Use available tools, procedures, instructions, and documents to resolve technical problems;
  • Work as part of a team to design, build, and support BPM applications for our clients;
  • Provide first-line telephone technical support for the Q2 Solution;
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with customers;
  • Work on self-improvement by taking training and studying to take the next certification.

Requirements:

  • BA/AS in Computer Science, Information Systems or related technical degree/education;
  • Demonstrated ability to learn multiple new software applications and provide required support;
  • Experience with object oriented design;
  • Multi-location teams;
  • Presentation skills and the ability to influence others in order to meet objectives;
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills;
  • Ability to work in a global, multicultural environment;
  • Variety of technical/experience levels;
  • Able to influence and build relationships at all levels of staff;
  • More than 3 years’ experience supporting desktop applications in a Windows environment;
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Detail oriented;
  • Knowledge of SQL, XML, REST, SOAP, Java or C#
  • Knowledge and understanding of project management principles;
  • Strong ability to analyze requirements / problems and to propose innovative but workable solutions.
