Our company is looking for a Desktop Support Analyst to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and resolve end-user hardware, software and connectivity issues which could be more complex in nature;
  • Performing system backups/recoveries;
  • Supporting Corporate policies procedures and best practices pertinent to Window Servers;
  • Provides advice and guidance to colleagues regarding incidents;
  • Explain and document technical issues in a clear way to clients;
  • Identifies and automates redundant tasks through scripts primarily utilizing PowerShell;
  • Proactively helps team members/makes suggestions to improve practices;
  • Install, configure, test, maintain, and troubleshoot end-user workstations and related hardware and software;
  • Identify, log and resolve technical problems with software applications;
  • Follow-up on equipment delivered to other sites and assure equipment was received and set up properly;
  • Interacts with users to understand and document all IT issues;
  • Other duties as assigned;
  • Takes immediate actions to resolve technology service disruptions when they occur;
  • Create, maintain, and distribute reports of progress to senior leadership;
  • Ensures incidents impacting technology availability are resolved within policy standards.

Requirements:

  • In-depth knowledge of or experience with repairing HP printers (Required 3 Years);
  • A+ Certification (Highly Desired 1 Years);
  • Overall IT experience (Required 5 Years);
  • Demonstrated experience using a programming language to create scripts that automate redundant tasks; PowerShell experience preferred;
  • Possesses knowledge in own expertise while maintaining a comprehensive understanding of a subset of the broader technology portfolio;
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, or related certifications with 3+ year(s) of experience in a similar role;
  • BA or BS degree preferred or other relevant combination of training and experience;
  • May require local travel;
  • Understanding of Mac OSX operating system;
  • Identifies performance tuning opportunities that will produce improvements to processing or capacity;
  • Financial industry experience;
  • Typically requires 3+ years of relevant experience;
  • Examines and collects data for trending capacity utilization;
  • Knowledgeable of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VPN, and network fundamentals;
  • Thorough understanding of Microsoft Office suite, specifically Office 2016 / 365.
