Jr. Salesforce Developer Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Jr. Salesforce Developer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in design, code, and test inspections throughout life cycle to identify issues/defects;
- Manage daily support and maintenance of the customized applications;
- Identify opportunities for sales automation;
- Design and implement Salesforce.com integration with external applications and systems;
- Configure/build new and enhanced functionality in the Salesforce.com platform using declarative and/or programmatic solutions;
- Developing customized solutions within the Salesforce platform;
- Develop integration process definition and application design;
- Create custom applications to interface with Salesforce and Salesforce.com;
- Conduct long-term improvement operations to stabilize systems while enhancing the systems to support evolving requirements;
- Follow Agile software development methodology and team architecture standards;
- Document complex business processes (workflows) and requirements (user stories, use cases, wireframes);
- Coding using the Salesforce APIs;
- Customize Salesforce applications using custom objects, workflows, validations and formulas while adhering to Salesforce best practices;
- Evaluate existing sales processes and determine potential Salesforce-enabled enhancements including migrating to Lightning;
- Create and update solution design specifications to create new functionality in Salesforce.com platform and to enhance/fix existing functionality.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a closely related field;
- Highly skilled in building custom integrations on Salesforce platform;
- Working knowledge of web services development using RestAPI, SOAP services, etc;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills;
- Strong problem solving, priority setting, multi-tasking, analytical, and collaboration skills;
- Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture and development best practices;
- Excellent communication, both written and verbal is mandatory;
- Exposure to configuration and customization;
- Ability to develop requirements for applications based on user input and needs;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team in a fast paced environment;
- Expert at defining the system architecture landscape and identifying gaps between currentsolution and desired solution;
- Exposure to SalesForce.com and Force.com.
