Our company is looking for a Network Technician to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Failover for onsite service work;
  • Create SOP and KB articles inside of documentation software;
  • OS troubleshooting;
  • Actively participate in roadmap education/continuing education;
  • Maintain accurate information inside documentation software;
  • Server installation and troubleshooting;
  • Basic PC network connectivity – Ethernet, TCP/IP and remote access solutions;
  • 3 years of related IT experience supporting Microsoft based operating systems;
  • Proficiency in English with strong oral and written communication skills;
  • Train & manage teams of local contractors to deploy the technology;
  • Working knowledge of help desk software and ticketing in general;
  • Strong organizational skills;
  • Ability to deal with customers in a friendly, professional manner;
  • Conduct line of site analysis;
  • User & Security Group Administration in Active Directory.

Requirements:

  • Advanced troubleshooting – Server OS 2003 – 2016, Exchange, Office 365, SQL – Server (no coding or queries), Vmware, Citrix, and Active Directory;
  • Advanced troubleshooting – Mac OS;
  • Network + or equivalent;
  • Advanced troubleshooting – Firewall Policy, Routing, VLAN, QoS, and Wireless technology;
  • Familiarity with facility infrastructure;
  • Strong attention to detail;
  • Ability to lift equipment weighing up to 50 lbs;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Experience using our client Drive, Docs, Sheets, & Slides or Microsoft Office;
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently & with a team of engineers;
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in field deployment;
  • Ability to climb ladders/stairs;
  • BS degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent practical experience;
  • AA/AS degree in a related field;
  • Comfortable working with Linux environments.
