Our company is looking for a PL/SQL Developer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Tune application SQL queries for performance optimization;
  • Convert user stories into application logic; reports, printed outputs, and interfaces with other systems;
  • Ability to turn high-level requirements into a working system through iterative development;
  • Create acceptance criteria, develop automated test frameworks, and validate work products;
  • Develop, validate, and maintain large, enterprise class, applications written in Oracle PL/SQL;
  • Load data into tables;
  • Profile server resource usage, optimize and tweak as necessary;
  • Help write and optimize in-application SQL statements;
  • Help Reporting developers solve data load, data quality issues;
  • Develop and enhance an existing Data Mart in an OLAP schema;
  • Analyze and convert business requirements to technical requirements, followed by design and implement the solutions;
  • Provide production deployment and production support as needed;
  • Validate and fix data in the tables as appropriate;
  • Validate the tables design / data quality for individual reports as based on business requirements;
  • Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a closely related field;
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Crystal Reports;
  • Excellent Unit testing Skills;
  • Ability to take requirements documentation from end users;
  • Experience using Oracle Packages;
  • Experience writing .NET applications in C#
  • 6+ Years’ Experience with Performance Tuning and optimizing SQL, PL/SQL code to reduce execution time or improve efficiency;
  • Experience in creating reports using Crystal Reports;
  • Experience analyzing complex business applications, developing logic flow charts, and translating detailed design into software;
  • Must have good verbal and written communication skills;
  • Knowledge of the financial services industry desired but not required;
  • Knowledge of working in Oracle relational databases;
  • Strong SQL development, SQL analytics and tuning skills;
  • Strong understanding of both structured and unstructured data.
