Salesforce Application Architect Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Salesforce Application Architect to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Develop any technical documentation needed to accurately represent application design and code;
- Perform unit and integration testing Conduct functional and non-functional testing;
- Anticipate and address technical and organizational obstacles affecting own team and related teams;
- Develop applications and services for projects owned by the team using the latest tools and technologies;
- Evaluate existing applications to refactor, update and add new features;
- This role is located in Creve Coeur, MO. Relocation assistance may be offered for this role;
- Interact directly with business customers to gather and understand requirements and how they translate in application features;
- Provide technical analysis, technical solution design, and product function expertise to the business, implementing the solutions;
- Deploy applications across all environments in collaboration with development team, release team and Product Management;
- Provide guidance and mentoring for technical design and architecture decisions within the team and related teams;
- Work with team and Product Manager to manage project priorities deadlines and deliverables;
- Identify opportunities to develop new and better solutions;
- Troubleshoot and debug applications;
- Identify and pursue opportunities to improve own knowledge and skills and those of more junior developers;
- Collaborate daily with a team of Software Developers, Product Manager, Product Specialists, and Agile Coach to build and support applications.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field and at least 10 years of practical experience, OR;
- Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related field and at least 8 years of practice experience;
- Must have one of the following: High School Diploma and at least 14 years of practical experience, OR.
