Security Specialist maintains an organization’s automated security systems and employee identification card system. Serves as the point of contact for security system related issues. Being a Security Specialist provides training to employees on use and features of security systems. May require a bachelor’s degree. Our company is looking for a Security Specialist to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparing for classified meetings and escorting visitors as required;
  • Contributing to one time projects such as documentation marking, library reorganization, and material disposal;
  • Preparing visit requests for program personnel;
  • Conducting security education and training including refresher training;
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance required;
  • Perform tasks as directed by the Loss Prevention department;
  • Work with growing Security Team to coordinate incident response, BCDR;
  • Work across internal teams to track security/compliance initiatives;
  • Preference to candidates with FMS experience;
  • Act as subject matter expert and as the point of contact for external parties (clients, auditors, prospects) interested in LiveRamp security;
  • 5 years supporting security aspects of program acquisition required;
  • Opportunities available in APG & Hanover, MD;
  • 3 years coordinating visitor security and control, and all security education requirements;
  • Act as a visual deterrent for criminal activity in the store;
  • Support a growing international team and represent LiveRamp security to our clients overseas.

Requirements:

  • Preparing visit requests for program personnel;
  • Candidate must be able to work with minimal supervision and work well under deadlines, frequently with quick turnaround;
  • Preparing for classified meetings and escorting visitors as required;
  • US citizenship and an active DoD Secret security clearance;
  • Conducting security education and training including refresher training;
  • Minimum of 7 years of related experience;
  • Monitor security threats, analyze vulnerability assessments and balance security with business rules/needs;
  • Proficiency using MS Office;
  • Be flexible, organized, proactive and motivated;
  • Possess a high degree of integrity and trust along with the ability to work independently;
  • Preference will be given to applicants with previous experience in security;
  • Demonstrate excellent troubleshooting and analytical thinking skills;
  • Independent: needs no oversight to get things done;
