Our company is looking for a Senior Reliability Engineer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Performing Neutron Single Event Upset susceptibility and mitigation analyses;
  • Performing bids and proposals on both commercial and military avionics programs;
  • Optimizes PPM activities, on an on-going basis, to support overall productivity improvements;
  • Participates in plant health study and efforts to implement corrective action to maintain or improve plant health;
  • Make decisions on issues related to equipment reliability and maintenance, cost reduction and commercial availability;
  • Communicate key findings to business partners and leadership throughout the organization;
  • Support process improvement projects designed to promote reliability and product quality;
  • Help develop automated solutions for dashboard and report generation;
  • Graphical Analysis Techniques;
  • Collect data from multiple sources such as Trackwise and translate the data into meaningful Power BI Dashboards and visualizations;
  • Will serve as mentor to teammates in Wind Analytics in the area of reliability, quality, maintenance and work planning;
  • Weibull Analysis;
  • Collect, organize and evaluate data to identify opportunities to improve cost, quality and product line performance;
  • Work with Vehicle Supply Management to use reliability data to optimize warranty / extended warranty programs;
  • Build, manage and maintain reports, dashboards and visualizations as needed.

Requirements:

  • Ability to perform detailed analyses on complex systems;
  • Component failure modes and wear-out mechanisms per JEDEC is also strongly desired;
  • Knowledge on how to prepare and present technical information to peers, to all levels of internal management, and to external customers;
  • Effective oral and written communication skills;
  • Effective interpersonal and team skills;
  • Background in atmospheric radiation effects (single event effects) analysis/testing per IEC 62936-1 (effects on avionics) and -2 (testing);
  • US Citizenship is required due to ITAR restrictions;
  • Proficient in reliability statistics/models and failure analysis;
  • Past experience with bids and proposals of aerospace products (commercial and/or military);
  • A minimum of 4 (four) years experience in transportation or vehicle/engine manufacturing industry or a related field;
  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related discipline.
