Senior SQL Developer Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Senior SQL Developer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Designs, codes, tests, debugs, and documents those programs;
- Responsible for completion of development projects;
- Works with users to support business applications, and investigate operational problems/system requirements;
- Regularly provides coaching, guidance and training to less-experienced analysts/programmers;
- Directs, prepares, designs, codes, tests, debugs, and maintains complex computer programs;
- Develops business cases, requirements and performance metrics;
- May be responsible for completion of a phase of a project;
- Refines business requirements from which programs will be written;
- Prepares detailed specifications from which programs will be written;
- Under general direction, formulates and defines system scope and objectives;
- Design and improve custom data-integration procedures for individual customers;
- Establishing SQL Server Replication throughout cloud servers for scalability and availability;
- Managing migration of existing infrastructure to cloud servers;
- Provide support and streamlining of data consolidation processes;
- Monitoring and fine-tuning databases for optimal performance.
Requirements:
- TS/SCI clearance;
- 3+ years of experience with Visual Basic;
- BA or BS degree or 20+ years of experience in network and database development in lieu of degree;
- 15+ years of experience with network and database development;
- 2+ years of experience in developing scripts for extracting, transforming, and loading (ETL) mass data from diverse sources and formatting;
- 2+ years of experience with C#
- 4+ years of experience with SQL Server and SQL database development;
- Security+ Certification;
- Experience with developing machine learning algorithms to perform vario us tasks for import, analysis, notifications, and enrichment of data;
- DoD 8570.01-M Information Assurance Te chn ical Workforce Requirement Level II Certification;
- Experience with developing machine learning algorithms to perform various tasks for import, analysis, notifications, and enrichment of data;
- DoD 8570.01-M Information Assurance Technical Workforce Requirement Level II Certification.
