Senior Web Application Engineer Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Senior Web Application Engineer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement Mercari’s API and web application;
- Design and implement tools to meet product requirements and support our customer support team;
- Develop new features for Mercari’s US app and related tools.
Requirements:
- Experience with modern front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, and VueJS;
- Knowledge of secure programming in web applications;
- Coding in Go or/and PHP;
- Good knowledge of the Git version control system;
- Ability to solve complex business tasks working closely with product managers, engineers, and the customer support team;
- Strong familiarity with database modeling using relational databases (MySQL), and ability to write efficient SQL queries;
- Knowledge of and experience with front-end technologies (HTML, JavaScript, CSS);
- 6+ years of web application development experience.
