Our company is looking for a Sr. Web Developer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure media production is in accordance with customer policies, structures and governance;
  • Work as part of a Strategic Communications Team that implements communication strategies and projects;
  • Design, develop, maintain, and administer web content for collaborative and transactional sites;
  • Stay current on UX/UI best practices to integrate creative, easy to navigate web design concepts;
  • Design, develop, and debug software for externally facing corporate web sites within Web Content Management framework;
  • Use deadlines, milestones, and deliverables to effectively anticipate roadblocks and development opportunities;
  • Coding for responsive design;
  • Work closely with the product team to create user friendly design & a wow experience for the users;
  • Applying current and emerging technologies to projects by making suggestions and promoting best working practice and methodologies;
  • Be a senior contributor to our main app and create dynamic content using React;
  • Make an impact in how users are interacting and viewing our websites and mobile app;
  • Consulting with clients, providing helpful guidance and scheduling resources to meet deadlines and quality deliverables;
  • Building new websites and maintaining some old ones.

Requirements:

  • Drives design of their features & subsystems;
  • Demonstrated 5+ years of practical web development experience;
  • Experience working with other cloud platform teams and accommodating requirements from those teams (compute, networking, search, store);
  • Sample portfolio (code or public facing web build) is required;
  • Comfortably in a collaborative, agile development environment;
  • Familiarity and understanding of modern web application development with deep experience in HTML/CSS;
  • Drives operational readiness & excellence of their features & subsystems;
  • Experience working for high-end brands or other environment with very high standards for presentation layer is a plus; Ecommerce experience is a plus;
  • Proven experience in PHP programming for enterprise-level e-commerce solutions;
  • 7+ years of web development experience;
  • Development experience in JavaScript and at least one modern web application framework such as React/AngularJS/Ember and using it with REST APIs;
  • Write correct, secure, maintainable, robust code and appropriate tests for front-end code;
  • Strong Javascript experience and/or other tools/frameworks (Angular, Node, etc.);
  • Ability to use Git and work collaboratively with other developers;
  • In-depth knowledge of JavaScript.
