Our company is looking for a Web Designer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- You’ll be measured and evaluated on your ability to turn requirements into fully realized designs;
- Improve interfaces by incorporating business and user feedback;
- Create user-centered wireframes by considering market analysis, customer feedback, technical constraints/opportunities and usability findings;
- Establish creative direction for our partners’ websites projects & campaigns;
- Prioritize projects/tasks and managing timelines;
- Coordinate sharing of resources and client information between design, development and content teams during the project lifecycle;
- The employee may be occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicles;
- Write well designed, testable and efficient code by using best development practices;
- Participate in helping the sales team price out new projects;
- Collaborate with project managers, UX and graphic designers, back-end developers, and other front-end developers;
- Design web and landing pages for the JAKTOOL website and its product websites that are effective, appealing and on brand;
- Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues;
- This position is a high-security position, and may pose a risk of exposure to criminal elements. Proper security training and awareness is required;
- Organize and populate brand asset/photo and font libraries;
- Present design concepts to clients and team members.
Requirements:
- Ability to write HTML and CSS without a framework;
- Familiarity with Creator, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Flash desired skills;
- To model and texture 3D elements efficiently for both low and high poly applications;
- Managing Database Experience (Dynamo, Mongo, RDS, MySQL);
- While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to talk and hear;
- Vision abilities required to perform this job include close vision;
- Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively;
- Expert in HTML, CSS, and Javascript;
- Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS. Ability to turn static designs into websites using HTML, CSS and Javascript is a plus;
- UX (user experience);
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic arts, design, communications, or related equivalent experience;
- WordPress experience;
- Knowledge of Adobe PhotoShop, Illustrator, Sketch, InDesign, and other graphic design software;
- You MUSTbe a self-starter and get things done;
- SEO (search engine optimisation), marketing and social media.
