Foreman Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Foreman to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Fully test an antenna/line system as required via PIM or Sweep;
- Transport and set up as needed, ladders and power equipment to job site (extension ladders, sanders, sprayers, pressure washers, etc.);
- Monitor attendance, appearance, language, and proper use of equipment of all Team Members;
- Perform general construction activities, when applicable;
- Provides guidance, instruction, supervision and assistance to subordinate employees;
- Handle Shipping and Receiving; Recruit new hires when needed; Accounting functions;
- Propose and implement changes and new technology on-site;
- Oversee all rebar inventory;
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and be willing to learn in house computer systems;
- Must have and demonstrate a personal and passionate safety culture and drive in all they do;
- Implement change in the work place in a timely manner by using all available resources;
- Maintains tracking detail for maintenance for equipment, generators, vehicles, and trailers;
- Communicates status updates to leadership and, when required, customers in a clear, concise, and timely manner;
- Ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external customers for job progress;
- Tracks materials and inventory and identifying needs.
Requirements:
- Flexible to work shift work to include maintenance window and weekends if needed;
- Periodic air travel will be required;
- OSHA Safety standards certification is preferred (will provide training);
- Must be able to sit, stand, walk, and drive or ride in a truck for long periods of time;
- Extensive experience with GSM, UMTS, Carrier Adds, DAS and LTE;
- Valid driver’s license;
- to understand and use the English language, both oral & written, to communicate information or ideas to another person or persons;
- Excellent Computer Skills;
- to understand and follow directions;
- to comprehend and process information rapidly and accurately;
- to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations;
- Requires strong attention to detail and effective interpersonal skills;
- Must exercise excellent attention to detail with emphasis placed on safety and quality;
- Must possess a current and valid driver’s license and insurance;
- Must possess a clean Motor Vehicle Record.
