Lead Solar Installer Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Lead Solar Installer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble the racking and solar array;
- Installation of roof-mounted solar systems;
- Trenching, concrete work and equipment assembly;
- Sealing all roof penetrations;
- Project clean up;
- Electrically wire solar AC/DC system;
- Assemble equipment along with properly sealing all roof penetrations;
- Maintain inventory of equipment for each solar installation;
- Maintain a clean work site.
Requirements:
- Electrical knowledge preferred;
- Able to read drawings and electrical single line diagrams;
- Must have 3-5 years experience installing solar on all types of roofs including ground mounts;
- Be able to lift 50+pounds of weight frequently throughout assigned workday;
- Good driving record;
- Attention to detail;
- Must have electrical and/or roofing experience;
- Previous Solar Installation Experience required;
- Professional appearance and client interaction;
- Construction related experience;
- Be able to lift, pull and push materials and equipment to complete assigned job tasks;
- Have full range of mobility in upper and lower body;
- Documentation Skills.
