Our company is looking for a Shift Supervisor to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- We expect you to have a BA/BS degree;
- You will also have 2+ years of manufacturing supervisory experience;
- Ensures stated goals are met;
- Ensures that work areas are clean and that equipment, tools, and supplies are properly stored;
- Evaluate team members and recommend/deliver training to improve performance;
- Works safely at all times;
- Ensure t hat all operators are trained on the proper and safe way to use all machinery;
- Markets the restaurant;
- Monitor the equipment noting the sounds and visually observe components, recording and reporting to Maintenance th e signs of wear and tear;
- Be a role model and enfo rce safety, exc ellent work attitude and set high standards for your work performance;
- Monitors inventory levels, order supplies and manages deliveries;
- Acts with integrity, honesty and knowledge that promote the culture, values and mission of Starbucks;
- Assures that employee grievances are heard with help from appropriate district or region HR support employees and Account or Operations Manager;
- Review packing and labeling requirements with in-line person assigned to packing and to ensure that they are understood;
- Enforces Allied Universal’s policies as outlined in the handbooks and executive memos.
Requirements:
- Excellent computer and Microsoft Office skills;
- Strong financial acumen and P&L accountability experience;
- Strong mechanical knowledge;
- An aptitude for supervising others and supervisory experience preferred. Must have computer knowledge and skills;
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred;
- Vision requirements: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception and focus adjustment;
- 5+ years of experience in an industrial environment preferred;
- 5 years in manufacturing experience, preferably blown film plastics;
- Intermediate computer skills;
- High School diploma, GED or hig her;
- Must have Basic Compu ter Knowledge;
- Some College education;
- BSc in Restaurant Management, Business Administration or similar field;
- A customer service approach with the ability to manage complaints with professionalism;
- Ability to manage a team.
