Our company is looking for a Physical Therapist – Outpatient Orthopedics to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintains positive level of interaction with facilities and clients. Enhances and expands client relations with facilities and their staff;
  • Develops treatment plans, supervises assistants and aides, contributes to case management, and provides quality patient care;
  • Document patient treatment in the electronic documentation and billing system;
  • Communicate, in a timely manner, with physicians as appropriate to discuss progress and update the plan of care for the patient;
  • Develop a plan of care for each physical therapy patient;
  • Perform patient evaluation including all pertinent tests and measures;
  • Provide skilled physical therapy services / interventions in accordance with physician orders;
  • Review patient records for current diagnosis, past medical history, precautions, and contraindications.

Requirements:

  • Valid State Physical Therapy License/ Registration REQUIRED to start;
  • Must be a graduate of an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) accredited school of physical therapy;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills;
  • Graduate from an accredited school;
  • Current CPR Certification;
  • Current licensure in state of New York as a Physical Therapist.
