Building Services Technician Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Building Services Technician to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain stock of parts, supplies, materials, and tools within areas of responsibility;
- Assist in equipment calibration program;
- Follow and maintain Good Documentation Practices;
- Investigate any process deviations, write process deviation reports and initiate document change requests;
- Maintain cleaning logs and maintenance logs;
- Follow SOPs and approved directions to clean glassware and equipment used in GMP processes;
- Follow approved GMP manufacturing directions such as Standard Operation Procedures, Standard Test Procedures, and related activities;
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and approved directions to perform basic maintenance tasks on facilities and equipment.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills;
- Organised and methodical approach to managing tasks to meet deadlines and manage conflicting priorities;
- Relevant practical experience of using Revit and AutoCAD in a similar building services-based role;
- Strong problem-solving ability;
- Friendly and enthusiastic approach;
- Strong general IT knowledge;
- Understanding of how to automate modelling and documentation processes using digital engineering tools such as Dynamo;
- Ability to work across building services disciplines.
