Our company is looking for a Maintenance Tech to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision;
  • Other duties as assigned;
  • Responds to and corrects equipment stoppage and mechanical breakdown;
  • Strong background in maintenance repair and preventative maintenance programs;
  • Makes necessary repairs in residents’ apartments as assigned by supervisor;
  • Troubleshoots, repairs and replaces defective parts;
  • Repairs, troubleshoots, upgrades, and calibrates various equipment and devices used in the plant;
  • Good organizational, communication, and planning skills;
  • Deliver paperwork or messages to the other Panasonic buildings and run local errands in support of team;
  • Practices and complies with all safety and quality procedures;
  • Assists in establishing and maintaining filing system;
  • Performs building and grounds maintenance and repairs;
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service;
  • Assist with repair of fans, pumps, conveyor systems and motors;
  • Assist with repairs and preventive maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing infrastructure.

Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license and automobile insurance that is in compliance with Indiana State law requiring automobile insurance is required;
  • Demonstrated professionalism and ability to protect controlled information;
  • Technical;
  • Technical Degree required OR 2 years’ proven experience within Maintenance Dept;
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions;
  • Keen attention to detail and quality;
  • Responsible for the maintenance and repairs affecting equipment necessary for plant operations;
  • Pool certified;
  • Safety mentality is a must and reliability with attendance and quality of work is expected;
  • Responsible for lockout/tagout procedures as mandated by company policy;
  • Mechanical aptitude;
  • Must be willing to complete 48-hour safety training in Highland, IN;
  • Fitness Center;
  • Ability to work efficient and accurately in nosy environments;
  • Life insurance.
